Watery adventures are great. However, in the past I have been burdened by the fact that there are not many shoes that do well on hikes that include sandy beaches, streams, or steamy hot weather. The problem is that most hiking shoes are waterproof but not made to be submerged. The other option would be sandals that don’t offer protection or the support required for serious outdoor activities. Lucky for us KEEN came up with the idea of the Newport H2. This hybrid sandal provides ample support/cushion, protection, and can be fully submerged without issue.

People such as myself love the style because it is the king of warm weather versatility. I have enjoyed the cushioned foot bed trekking through cities, I’ve taken advantage of the slip-resistance on wet boat decks, enjoyed the toe protection on hikes through the forests or Washington state, and worn the KEEN Newport H2 out to countless casual dinners.
